Caju Creative Studio is a visual content studio in Noord Brabant, Netherlands, led by me, Fernanda, a versatile Brazilian creative with a Bachelor in Digital Design. During my University years I could explore different mediums and languages to express ideas, an experience of multidisciplinary practice in multimedia and audiovisual that shaped me as a creative professional.
The studio works with video production, photography, design, and illustration, in projects that bring ideas to life with intention and creativity.
Caju's mission is to help you tell your story the authentic way, combining storytelling and technical skills to make sure the results reflect the message you want to share with the world.
With a background in design and a passion for storytelling, we combine creative direction, thoughtful composition, and purposeful aesthetics to deliver visuals that resonate with the target audience.
Let’s create content that’s more than just beautiful, let’s make it meaningful.
What does Caju mean?
To talk about how Caju was born I need to take you back to my roots and talk a little about my grandma and my childhood backyard. I am from Fortaleza, a beach sunny city in the northeast region of Brazil.
I grew up having my grandma, my uncle and cousins as our neighbours. Our three houses shared the same piece of land. Our backyard was full of trees and one of my favorites was the cashew tree.
My grandma had planted that tree many decades before, when she used to sell the produce that she grew on that land in order to make ends meet.
Throughout my childhood that tree was like my playground and I loved climbing it and watching my grandma’s house from the top branches. To me that tree represents her love and effort, but also a fun and rewarding challenge to the kid I once was.
The cashew is also an iconic fruit in my region, so it is very representative of the Northeast of my country.
And when I thought about challenging myself to pursue my own creative business here in the Netherlands, which is something that requires love but also a lot of effort, it just made sense that I would call my studio Caju.
